A different experience in Michi-no-Eki Aso !!!

My name is Wendy an intern from Taiwan. This is my first time interning abroad. Here I will share some interesting things that happened in Michi-no-Eki Aso.

After arriving at Kumamoto Airport , we took a bus to Aso Station because of the rain.Just like in Taiwan, you have to press a button to get off the bus here.

Because we arrived relatively early, we took a walk around the area first. We felt that this place was really close to nature; we could even see the tracks directly, which gave us a very relaxed and free feeling.

The accommodation is also excellent. It’s such a beautiful and comfortable place for the next month makes me incredibly excited and looking forward to it.

My biggest impression from my internship here is that everyone is very kind and helpful, guiding us step by step so we can learn gradually.

The next day, we went to a temple together to learn about the local culture. Along the way, we saw many trees, and even a sacred tree that people prayed for after Japan won a war 400 years ago.

I feel really lucky to be here. Everyone has been so welcoming and understanding. I’m gradually getting to know the environment and geography, and I hope to be able to contribute and help more in the future.
