Here’s what you can enjoy at Coffee Plaza East

There is sometimes an issue with recommending red beef restaurants. As you know, driving one’s own car is more common in Aso because it’s in the countryside. For this reason, we sometimes have difficulties when visitors, particularly those from overseas without cars, want to try Aso’s famous red beef for dinner. Most of the red beef restaurants are a bit far from our Michi no Eki Aso to walk and are closed in the evening. Coffee Plaza East comes to the rescue.

Welcome to Michi no Eki Aso…

It’s me, Min Min, once again, still barely alive with my graduation thesis. Thank goodness I can still find solace in Aso’s beautiful scenery. Today is sunny, making it delightful to stroll around Michi no Eki Aso and for lunch, I chose East again.

East is essentially a coffee shop, but it also offers a variety of menus from morning until night. I’ve taken pictures of the menu for you.

This is a lifesaver when some customers without cars want to have red beef. East offers Aso’s red beef steak. They also offer various steaks with different styles. As you can see, the menu includes English, so you won’t find any difficulties ordering your food.

Here’s what they offer for breakfast…

You can enjoy a sandwich set, honey toast set, or pancake set with the drink of your choice. And if you desire these outside of breakfast hours, you can order them whenever you like.

They also offer Japanese set meals at reasonable prices. You can even try Aso’s other iconic Takana bowl set.

If you’re a curry enthusiast, you’re in luck…

You can select the curry of your choice.

If you’ve finished your hearty meal and crave some sweets and drinks, look no further…

Coffee Jelly Parfait is my favorite.

Today, I had the beef bowl set from a special lunch set. Though it wasn’t Aso’s red beef, it was delicious in its own way.

That’s all for today, and I believe East would be very convenient for you if you’re staying near Michi no Eki Aso, like at Aso Base Backpackers or Fairfield Marriott.

Thank you very much for reading my blog, and I hope to see you soon in Aso.
