Hello, everyone!
At the tourist information counter, one of the popular questions is
“Where is the souvenir stamp?”
It seems that not only collecting goshuin (temple and shrine stamps) but also collecting stamps from tourist facilities has become very popular among visitors from overseas.
The stamp for Michi-no-Eki Aso (Aso Roadside Station) is located near the cash register.
In Aso City, you can also find stamps at Aso Station, the Aso Volcano Museum, and the Mount Aso Visitor Center.
In addition, many people traveling in Japan in search of beautiful nature often visit national parks.
Aso is also located within the Aso-Kuju National Park.
From February 2025 to March 2027, there’s a special project where you can collect stamps from national parks of Japan. The stamps have stylish designs similar to temple and shrine goshuin stamp.
Within Aso-Kuju National Park, the places where you can find the stamp sheets and stamps are:
- Mount Aso Visitor Center
- Aso Grassland Conservation Center
- Minami Aso Visitor Center
- Chojabaru Visitor Center
I’d also like to start collecting them myself.
